Pentode Bass Tube Pre-amp


A pentode input preamp using a 7199 tube. Tone control, Bax type with 30~300hz, 250~600hz, and treble control.

Recordings: output jack straight into a mini disc recorder then transfered into a laptop. no effects of other post processing done
Sample 1 All controls set to 50%, compressor pot by-passed
Sample 2 volume 50% all controls set to 0, then sweeping through the 30~300hz, then 250hz~600hz, then the treble, and finally the compressor pot active and swept through.
Sample 3 Volume 50%, compressor pot by-pass, 30~300hz on 6, 250~600hz on 8, treble on 4 1/2
Sample 3 Volume 50%, compressor on 4, 30~300hz on 6, 250~600hz on 8, treble on 4 1/2
Sample 4 Volume 50%, compressor on 7, 30~300hz on 6, 250 ~600hz on 8, treble on 4 1/2

Pentode and cf board for 1st stage feeding volume pot and compression pot with bypass switch
Recovery and output CF stage
Power Supply filters (voltage doubler need to install diodes)
space for tone control, bax type control, with 30~300hz 250~600hz and treble
Tone stack installed and ground wires ran
look at the outside of the chassis
look at the outside of the chassis with tubes
look at the inside of the chassis
